Executive chair Victor Rosenberg remarked, “This deal with Advanced Impact Technologies is all about assuring ClearVue’s product delivery in the North American market.
The US-based Advanced Impact Technologies Inc (AITI) and ClearVue Technologies Ltd (ASX:CPV, OTCQB:CVUEF) have signed a two-year manufacturing and distribution agreement for the production, sale, and marketing of ClearVue’s solar photovoltaic (PV) glazing solutions.
With operations in Florida and Massachusetts, AITI and its affiliated group firms have been active in the commercial lamination and glazing industry for more than 40 years, providing access to a solid network in the US market.
According to Victor Rosenberg, executive chair of ClearVue Technologies, “this deal with Advanced Impact Technologies is all about assuring ClearVue’s product delivery in the North American market.”
“The AIT Group is a prominent supplier of additional sophisticated glazing systems, particularly for defence and military applications, and has both lamination and fabrication capacity in the southern and northern US.”
As a reputable manufacturer, supplier, and installer of PDLC-based switchable glass, it is already equipped to supply the ClearVue PV IGU products and our smart façade solution.
“The purpose of this first agreement is to initiate manufacture and supply immediately and then to seek a deeper connection together in the form of a joint venture or other more integrated relationship since both parties can already envisage a long and mutually advantageous relationship going forward. We think there is a solid agreement and understanding that both businesses will be driven significantly in the future by the need to decarbonize building across the board.
The two businesses’ deal grants AITI sole distribution and manufacturing rights for the US territories (with the exception of Pennsylvania) and Canada, as well as exclusive rights to supply Massachusetts and Florida.
